The Mifflin Township Division of Fire provides fire and emergency medical services to the 37,000 residents living in the city of Gahanna and the 3.9 square mile unincorporated area of Mifflin Township. Responding to more than 11,800 calls for assistance last year with a response time of less than four minutes, the Division of Fire is one of the busiest fire departments in the region. Mifflin Fire provides Fire/EMS/Rescue from 4 stations and operates two Engine Companies, 1 Heavy Rescue Company, 1 Ladder Company and three ALS Medics.
