Land Bank Representative to Provide Overview of Process to Mifflin Township Residents

A representative of the Central Ohio Community Improvement Commission (COCIC) will be presenting at 4:30 p.m. following the Mifflin Township Board of Trustees regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m.

Due to inquiries regarding the mission, process and purpose of the COCIC-Franklin County Land Bank, the Mifflin Township Trustees have invited a representative to provide an overview of the organization and to answer questions about the process the organization undertakes when acquiring a property for the purpose of improving the quality of a neighborhood.

Residents with questions concerning the organization's programs for stablizing communities burdened by a large number of vacant and abandoned properties are encouraged to attend and ask questions. Those unable to attend may visit the COCIC website at https://cocic.org/ or visit the Frequently Asked Questions page at https://cocic.org/faq or call 614.724.LAND (5263). Specific questions may be emaile to info@cocic.org or submitted through the website's contact page.
