Mifflin Township Trustee Lynn Stewart

The Mifflin Townships Board of Trustees has legislative authority within the township. They oversee the care and maintenance of each departments needs. Working closely with the trustees are the Fiscal Officers who are independent of township trustees and are responsible for keeping accurate records of all accounts, transactions, budgets and proceedings of townships.

A Mifflin Township resident since 1964, Lynn Stewart was re-elected in 2013 to serve her third term as trustee and is the first elected female Mifflin Township Trustee.

Stewart is a 1971 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and has been an active member of the Mifflin Township community. She served as a member of the City of Gahanna Charter Review Committee, as a member of the City of Gahanna Civil Service Commission, is a trustee for the Ohio Herb Education Center and a regular volunteer for a local food pantry.

Her career was spent in information technology. She was a senior sales representative for Digital Equipment Corp., with a focus on state and local government. Later, Stewart was a territory agent for IBM and an account manager for MAPSYS Inc. She served as a member of IBM President’s Council and was nominated as Woman of the Year by the Ohio Technology Council.
