Mifflin Township’s Fire Chief Fred Kauser was recently recognized as a Patriotic Employer by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense Program, for supporting employee participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force through a wide range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence, if needed. He was nominated for the Patriot Award by Matthew Crotty of Air Force Reserve Command.
