These positions are responsible for the performance of specialized duties primarily in emergency response and mitigation efforts to save lives and protect property. Duties will include, but are not limited to firefighting, rescue, operating ambulance and other vehicles and equipment/property maintenance during an assigned shift.
1. Complete the online application by Dec. 17, 2021 at 4 p.m.
2. Upload resume and cover letter at end of application indicating intent to participate in the process. Please include any current certificates.
3. Schedule and complete the NTN written test before the application deadline. We will accept NTN scores no older than 1-year from Dec. 17, 2021.
4. Review the Firefighter Application Packet.
Due to COVID-19 we will be conducting the Firefighter Combat Challenge in place of the CPAT or FF Mile. If you successfully completed the CPAT or FF Mile and have a certificate that is not beyond 1 year old from Dec. 17, 2021 we will accept the certificate and you will not be required to complete the FF Combat Challenge.
