Get Vaccinated; Register for Ohio’s Vax-A-Million Drawing

GAHANNA, Ohio – Need a COVID-19 vaccine for your shot at a million dollars? The Mifflin Township Division of Fire will hold a series of walk-in vaccination clinics throughout June and July at the Mifflin Township Hall, 155 Olde Ridenour Rd., across from the Gahanna Golf Course Clubhouse. Mifflin Township firefighters will provide the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine to residents 18 years and older. No registration is required. First come, first served.

Upcoming clinic dates and times currently scheduled are as follows:

June 3 from 1 to 4 p.m.

June 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

June 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.

July 8 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Last month, Governor DeWine announced a series of statewide drawings to incentivize Ohioans to get their vaccine. Ohioans 18 and older will be entered into a drawing of up to $1 million, with five weekly drawings held. Read more here. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Franklin County has had more than 127,000 cases and over 1,400 deaths from COVID-19. Over the past several months, Mifflin Township Community Paramedic Kenny King, and other staff, participated in numerous vaccine clinics, assisting in vaccinating more than 600 residents per day, as well as supplementing staff at area hospitals.
