Land Bank Representative to Provide Overview of Process to Mifflin Township Residents

A representative of the Central Ohio Community Improvement Commission (COCIC) will be presenting at 4:30 p.m. following the Mifflin Township Board of Trustees regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m.

Due to inquiries regarding the mission, process and purpose of the COCIC-Franklin County Land Bank, the Mifflin Township Trustees have invited a representative to provide an overview of the organization and to answer questions about the process the organization undertakes when acquiring a property for the purpose of improving the quality of a neighborhood.

Residents with questions concerning the organization's programs for stablizing communities burdened by a large number of vacant and abandoned properties are encouraged to attend and ask questions. Those unable to attend may visit the COCIC website at or visit the Frequently Asked Questions page at or call 614.724.LAND (5263). Specific questions may be emaile to or submitted through the website's contact page.
