The Ohio Telecommunicators Emergency Response Taskforce (TERT) arrived back to town at 12:30 pm today for a quick debriefing before heading home to be with their families. The team is healthy, and in good spirits, if a bit tired. They worked for 11 days at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division and 911 Center (Ft. Myers, Florida) and fielded approximately 7,000 calls during their time there. We are grateful for their service.
