Mifflin Township is currently seeking candidates for the following position:

FULL-TIME EMERGENCY 911 FIRE DISPATCHER

Mifflin Township is seeking both lateral transfers and individuals new to the emergency communications field for the position of Career Emergency 911 Fire Dispatcher.

The individual receives and assesses requests for 911 emergency assistance via multiple communications systems, dispatches and coordinates available emergency response resources accordingly while providing comfort, guidance, and instruction to callers in distress.

Job Details | Benefits | Qualifications | Salary Range

  • Full-Time Non-Exempt
  • Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental | full benefits package for full-time employees
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or GED / Ability to obtain the required certifications / Minimum of 2 years of emergency dispatching experience preferred but not required
  • Salary Range: $60,349 – $83,827 – salary commensurate with experience
