The Mifflin Township Division of Fire operates from four firehouses: one located in the unincorporated portion of Mifflin Township, and the other three within the city of Gahanna.

Each is staffed by professional firefighters/paramedics who are trained to respond to all emergency situations. Each firehouse is equipped with apparatus that fill a specific task, whether that be on the scene of a fire, medical emergency or rescue operation.

Station 131

Located at 475 Rocky Fork Blvd. in the Hunters Ridge subdivision, Station 131 is provide protection to one third of the incorporated portion of the township, approximately 4.5 square miles encompassing the southeast quadrant, with a resident population of approximately 10,000.

Station 131 is home to Ladder 131 which responds to fire and EMS related emergencies.


Station 132

Station 132, located at 2452 Agler Rd., services nearly 80 percent of the unincorporated portion of the Township, approximately two non-contiguous square miles, and serves an estimated resident population of approximately 3,500 composed primarily of single family neighborhood. 

Station 132 is home to Engine 132 and Medic 132. 

The House Captain, Anthony Torres, is responsible for company-level operations, incident command positions on the emergency scene, as well as managing the maintenance of the fire station assets, supplies and apparatus. 

Station 133

Located at 501 Beecher Road and serves approximately 4 square miles of Mifflin Township, encompassing the northeast quadrant, with a resident population of approximately 12,000. 

Station 133 is home to Engine 133, Medic 133 and Boat 133. 

The House Captain, Brad Crosson, is  responsible for company-level operations, incident command positions on the emergency scene, as well as managing the maintenance of the fire station assets, supplies and apparatus.   

Station 134

Located at 422 McCutcheon Rd. in the Woodside Green subdivision, Station 134 was opened in 1997 to better serve the residents of the west side of Gahanna, serving approximately 4 square miles. Station 134 is home to Heavy Rescue 134 and Medic 134. Heavy Rescue 134 is part of the Central Ohio Strike Team (COST) that responds to major rescue incidents throughout the Central Ohio area as part of a regional task force.

The House Captain, John Eing, is responsible for company-level operations, incident command positions on the emergency scene, as well as managing the maintenance of the fire station assets, supplies and apparatus.

Additionally, the Battalion Chief is assigned to Station 134 and is the shift commander. The Battalion Chief is responsible for incident command on fire scenes and serves as EMS coordinator when requested by paramedics on the scene of an incident for the entire Township.
